Fun Dog Shows

Over 23 classes and rosettes for the top three in each class - the fun dog shows are always popular with visitors of the All About Dogs Show. You can find out all the details of the classes and registration times by clicking the link along the top menu bar.

KC Good Citizen Bronze Test

Official Kennel Club Test... A series of simple exercises to test good behaviour. Entrants will either receive a "Pass" and a Certificate or a "Not Ready". Rosettes can be purchased for passes at £3 each. The test will take place from 10am to 12pm on both days and will be run by the Trent Valley Dog Training Club.

K9 Aqua Sports

K9 Aqua returns to this year's All About Dogs Shows due to popular demand!

Come along and let your dog have a go and get super wet in this increasingly popular sport. Remember to bring your camera as you are sure to get some good shots of dogs flying through the air!

Agility Course

Dog agility is a dog sport in which a handler directs a dog through an obstacle course in a race for both time and accuracy. Dogs run off leash with no food or toys as incentives, and the handler can touch neither dog nor obstacles.

Organised by Trent Valley Dog Training Club, the agility course is open to dogs of all ages and breeds.


Organised by Trent Valley Dog Training Club, Flyball is a fun, fast sport for you and your dog (any breed, any size), as long as dogs are over 12 months old they can play flyball.

Bring your dog to visit the team and have a go at this increasingly popular dog sport.

Scurry - Have A Go

A test of retrieval... The scurry will test your dog's ability to retrieve a toy hidden under obstacles (such as bales of straw of foliage) at high speed!

Anyone can enter their dog in this scurry for pet dogs...

Scurry - Advanced

For the advanced.... Join the team from Blyth Gundogs in the advanced dog scurry. Will your dog have the fastest time of the day?

A timed retrieval activity, the Steeplechase requires your dog to navigate over a series of straw bales to retrieve a dummy.

Organised by the PADS Dog Display Team. Any size, any breed, just for fun. Not timed. £1.50 for three goes and all the money goes to charity.

Obstacle Course

This year's obstacle course challenge is organised by the Notts & Yorkshire Boxer Rescue. Challenge consists of: 1)Egg & Spoon race whilst weaving around poles 2)Sit & Stay for 10 seconds 3)Dog to kick a football into a goal 4)Give a paw 5)Get the owner and dog through a single hoop 6)Dog to lay down 7)Hurdles... And finish. The fastest times within each hour will win a prize. Fastest dog of the day wins a rosette.

Fastest Recall

Fastest recall is a test of speed. It's a high energy canine sport which requires your dog to chase a toy.... then come back on recall. Will your dog be the quickest of the day?

All proceeds of the Recall go to the German Shepherd Rescue Elite.

Fun Obedience Competition

A HUGE welcome back to the PADS Dog Display Team, who will be running a fun obedience competition over the weekend. With rosettes for 1st to 5th place, the obedience competition will run from 10am to 3pm. After 3pm the scores will be totalled and rosettes awarded.

The exercises will be split into Beginners and Advanced Level with obedience tasks including on-lead heel work, sit stays, weaves, recall, stop at distance and more.

Mini Agility

Have a go at a mini agility course at the Pet Marketing stand across the weekend.
