Welcome to the All About Dogs Show Newbury 2020!

You’ll see the BIGGEST EVER All About Dogs Show returning to the South West in 2020! Bring your dog to the Newbury Showground on Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th September for two days of exciting arena displays, expert advice, shopping and lots of have-a-go activities – and if you don’t have a dog, there’s plenty of fun for humans too! Walk away with Best in Show 2020

Is your dog the Best of the Best? Winners from any of the classes throughout the weekend are welcome to participate in this 'fun' dog show. If you won a first prize rosette then come along to the Main Arena at 4pm and join in for free - here are the winners from our Newbury show weekend in 2019: Bentley & Mike and Georgia & Rosco.

Take part in Scruffts 2020

In search of crossbreeds with that extra something special, Scruffts is open to crossbreed dogs over the age of six months, with Scruffts rosettes awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd places in each class. Scruffts will be taking place at our Newbury show on Sunday 19th April only.

Be thrilled by Trip Hazard

We're delighted to welcome back Lucy Heath who will be bringing fun and interactive displays to the Main Arena and our Village Green. Lucy made it to the final of Britain's Got Talent in 2016 as the act 'Trip Hazard' and will be performing with Trip and friends - there could even be the chance for you to take part too! Tickets to the All About Dogs Show Newbury will also get you into the Newbury Garden Show where you can enjoy a whole host of garden products and even the main arena entertainment.

NEW: Dog First Aid Course

NEW FOR 2020 Learn Dog First Aid at this year's All About Dogs Show Newbury on Sunday 19th April. Learn life saving skills, including dog CPR, how to act if a dog starts choking, has heat stroke and more. On completion of the course, you'll receive a Dog First Aid Certificate. Have a splash with K9 Aqua Sports

K9 Aqua returns to our 2020 All About Dogs Shows! Come along and let your dog have a go and get super wet in this increasingly popular sport. Remember to bring your camera as you are sure to get some good shots of dogs flying through the air! Click here for more details.

Watch an exciting Gundog Display

Come to the Main Arena and watch a thrilling display from the West Berkshire Gundog Club. The team will be at the show all day so you can come and meet the Gundogs and learn more about them and their handlers throughout the weekend. Click here for more details.

Win a rosette with the Scurry Bandits

Let your dog have a go at the Bale Jump or Pick Up scurries with rosettes awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place for adults and juniors. All dogs are welcome to take part. Click here for more details.

Learn top training tips in obedience displays

We'll be welcoming the very best local dog clubs and display teams to the Main Arena for informative obedience displays. There will be the chance to take part in have-a-go activities throughout the weekend too.

Meet the Watermill Wolves

We're very excited that Watermill Wolves Lupines will be joining us at the All About Dogs Show Newbury this April. The four-legged stars have appeared in Penny Dreadful, Vikings, Vogue, Marie Claire and more! See the acting team up close and watch their demonstrations in the Main Arena across the weekend.

Insta-POOCH

After launching at our show last year, Insta-POOCH is back for 2020! Come and meet the doggy stars of instagram, learn top social media tips and even have a selfie with the famous pups! If your dog has an Instagram account and you're interested in taking part, email michelle@aztecevents.co.uk.

Youngsters can have a go too

The Junior Obedience Class is free to enter in the fun dog show arena. Fun obedience class for children - with rosette prizes for the best.

Take part in agility courses

Dog agility is a dog sport where a handler directs a dog through an obstacle course in a race for both time and accuracy. Dogs run off lead with no food or toys as incentives, and the handler can touch neither dog nor obstacles. Click here for more details.

Take on the fun obedience competition

With rosettes for 1st to 5th place, the exercises will be split into Beginners and Advanced Level with obedience tasks including on-lead heel work, sit stays, weaves, recall, stop at distance and more. Click here for more details.

Ready steady LURE RACE!

Meet dogs and owners

Thinking about getting a dog but not sure which one is right for you? At our 2020 show you’ll be able to meet a huge variety of different dogs and speak to some of the owners and rescue centres for advice and guidance on the different dog breeds.

Tuck into food and refreshments

Feeling peckish? Don't worry, there will be plenty of food and drink stands to keep you going all day. There will also be lots of stands selling treats for your pooches so they won't miss out!
