THE SHOW

Can I bring my dog?
This event is designed for you and your dog to enjoy together.  There are a few points to remember though; All dogs must be kept on a lead and under control at all times. If your dog is being handled by a minor please stay with your child and dog. Please do not bring bitches in season. Don’t forget your poo bags and please clear up after your dogs. All dog owners are responsible for their dogs at all times. Please be sure that your dog will enjoy attending an event that is busy with other dogs and humans.

Can I bring an XL Bully?
As of 1st February 2024 it is a criminal offence to own an XL Bully dog in England and Wales unless your dog has a Certificate of Exemption. If your dog has an Exemption Certificate (covering Third Party Public Liability insurance, neutering, and micro-chipping) you can attend the All About Dogs Show, however your dog MUST be muzzled and on a lead at all times. Please note that your dog will be unable to take part in any off-lead have-a-go activities (including dock diving, flyball, scurries, agility etc). Our Fun Dog Show classes are run by dog rescues and charities who may have their own terms and conditions on entry. You can familiarise yourself with recent Government guidelines on Animal Welfare and potential breed restrictions here.

Can I still attend without my dog?
Absolutely! If you are unable to bring your own dog, you can still come along and join in the fun. The All About Dogs Shows are a great day out for dog lovers and there will be lots for you to enjoy including our amazing arena displays and plenty of doggy shopping (plus it’s great fun watching the dogs take part in the have-a-go activities).

How do I enter the Fun Dog Show classes?
Registration for our Fun Dog Show classes takes place at the show from 10am (no pre-registration is available). You can enter as many classes as you like as long as the class isn’t full and your dog fits the category; for example a puppy couldn’t enter the golden oldie class and vice versa. All proceeds go to the rescues and charities running the Fun Dog Show rings. Please be respectful of their terms of entry and follow their instructions on the day.

Are there other activities my dog can take part in?
Yes there are plenty of fun have-a-go activities happening all day for you and your dog to take part in. You can find out more details on the individual show pages. If there’s a particular activity that you’re keen to try, we’d advise arriving early as the show can get quite busy later on and we don’t want you to miss out!

Will there be any dog experts or trainers at the show that I can speak to?
We have different experts at the show who will be happy to discuss any problems you are experiencing with your dog.

Yes we always have a veterinary nurse available at all of our shows.

Can I buy products for my dog at the show?
Yes you will find all the latest products available for your dog from beds to leads and treats to toys. Almost anything your dog would love.

Will the stands accept card payments or is it cash only?
Although the majority of our exhibitors will have card machines, we always advise bringing some cash with you just in case as sometimes signal can be temperamental. Some of the charities and rescues running the have-a-go activities may also only be able to accept cash for small donations.

Will there be food and drink available?
Yes, we always have a range of caterers at the show offering hot food and refreshments. If you have specific dietary requirements, you are welcome to bring a picnic to the show.
