COVID-19 FAQS


Why have you changed the dates of this year’s show?
In light of the recent Government annoucements regarding mass gatherings and social distancing, we have postponed the All About Dogs Show Essex to new dates after the impact of the Coronavirus outbreak. 

What were the original dates, and what are the new dates?
The show was originally set to take place on Bank Holiday Friday 8th and Saturday 9th May 2020. The All About Dogs Show Essex will now be running on Sunday 2nd and Bank Holiday Monday 3rd May 2021.

I already have tickets for the 2020 show – can I use these at the 2021 show?
Yes, absolutely! All tickets for our 2020 show are valid for the 2021 dates. Just print your tickets off and bring them with you as normal.

Can I speak to someone about my ticket booking?
If you have problems with your tickets or are unable to make the new dates, please contact our ticket support team at RedBox who will be able to assist you. Please call 0333 242 7912.

 

GENERAL FAQS


Can I bring my dog?
Yes this event is for you and your dog. All dogs must be keep on a lead and under control at all times. If your dog is being handled by a minor please make sure you are with your child and dog at all times. Don’t forget your poo bags and clear up after your dogs.
 
Can my dog take part in the dog show?
Yes the dog show is for all dogs and is just for fun. 
 
Are there other events my dog can take part in?
Yes there are different classes going on all day for you and your dog to take part in. Click here to visit our have-a-go activities page.
 
I am having problems with my dog and need to speak to an expert?
We have different experts at the show who will be happy to discuss any problems you are experiencing with your dog.
 
Do you have a vet on call?
Yes we have a veterinary nurse who will assess the situation and if they feel necessary, will give you the number of the local vet who will be able to help. 
 
Do I need to pre-register for any of the activities?
No, all activities are registered on the day.  However we advise arriving early to avoid disappointment.
 
Can I buy products for my dog at the show?
Yes you will find all the latest products available for your dog from beds to leads from treats to toys. Almost anything your dog would love.
 
Can I book my tickets online?
Tickets can be booked in advance on our website by clicking here. Alternatively you can purchase tickets on the day of the show at our Box Office, which will be situated at the entrance to the show. However we advise booking tickets in advance to take advantage of the discounted pre-booking rate as tickets on the gate will be subject to availability. For full ticket prices click here.
 
I’m having problems with my ticket booking – what should I do?
If you have a ticket enquiry, please email support@yourticketbooking.com or call 0333 242 7912. Lines are open Monday – Friday between 9am and 5pm excluding Bank Holidays. Calls are charged at 7p per minute plus any network charges from your supplier. On show days, lines will be open from 8am to 11am.
 
I’ve booked the wrong date on my tickets! Can I amend the booking?
There’s no need to amend your booking. Your tickets will be valid to use on either day of the selected show regardless of the date on them. But please note that tickets can only be used once and are non transferable to another show (e.g. Brentwood tickets can not be used at Hylands and vice versa).
 
I can no longer attend – can I get a refund?
We’re sorry if you can’t join us but all tickets are non-refundable.
 
Do you have a concession for carers?
Yes, we offer free entry for carers. You will need to book tickets for everyone else in your group but the carer/s will receive complimentary entry. Just let the team on the gate know and they will arrange entry.
 
Is disabled parking available?
Yes, blue badge parking is available at all of our events, however it is limited so we advise arriving early. Car park marshalls are due to be on site at each of our events from 9am.
  
Important information:
Please do not leave your dog in the car if it is hot.  Any persons seen mistreating their dog will be asked to leave the show.
