Come and join the experts at the All About Dogs Waggy Wellness & Training Zone. A series of interactive talks from the experts, including a veterinary nurse, behaviourists and dog trainers. All talks will be taking place on both Saturday and Sunday unless otherwise stated.

11:30am Jasmine Gallagher

Puppy Training & How it Shapes them for the Future

Jasmine is a BSc-qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) with over 5 years experience working as a Head Nurse in busy practices across London; and she has since gone on to achieve her MSc in Animal Behaviour and become APBC registered. She’s seen it all — from nervous puppies and misunderstood rescues to complex behavioural cases that need patience, structure, and a truly personalised approach.

Jasmine is now the Practice Manager at an independent veterinary clinic in St Albans, where she continues to combine clinical knowledge with a deep passion for behaviour, welfare, and practical training that actually works in real life.

11:45am Kassie Woods (Surrey Dog Behaviour)

Three Most Common Behaviour Issues

Kassie is a Cetificated Clinical Animal Behaviourist, running Surrey Dog Behaviour which offers everything from gundog and scentwork training, basic obedience support and behaviour consultations both in person and virtually.  Kassie has always had a passion for dog behaviour which led her to complete her first degree at the Royal Veterinary College as well as a Masters degree in Clinical Animal Behaviour. She also has a qualification in veterinary education as she is a guest lecturer at the Royal Veterinary College.

The best-travelled pup wins! 

12:15pm Sarah Beckley Jones (My Anxious Dog)

The Emotional Challenges of Owning an Anxious Dog

I’m Sarah, and this is Bella! Isn’t she adorable? To be honest, that’s a bit of a problem for us. Because she’s so pretty, people want to approach her all the time…. But she would rather they keep away from her. The last thing she wants is hands coming towards her face, and that’s how My Anxious Dog was born.

Meet the Therapy Dogs Nationwide Team

Come and meet Therapy Dogs Nationwide at the All About Dogs Show Newbury. The team will be coming to our Waggy Wellness & Training Zone area for a special Q&A session at 12.30pm.

Get to know the dogs and volunteers while learning about the wonderful work they do. If you have a dog with a good temperament and are interested in them becoming a therapy dog, come along and speak to the volunteers.

Crufts Heelwork to Music and Freestyle stars, Lucy Heath and her team of amazing trick dogs will be coming to the Waggy Wellness & Training Zone for an up close performance, offering heelwork to music training tips and guidance, giving you the chance to ask questions and learn from the professional performer.

2:15pm Niki French (Pup Talk)

Why Wouldn’t You Walk Your Dog?

Niki French is a Certified ACE Trainer and KAD Kids Around Dogs Approved Professional, founder of award-winning Pup Talk, and author of Amazon best seller STOP! Walking Your Dog. She specialises in helping stressed-out pet parents with nervous, reactive and over-excitable dogs. Her approach helps people to feel empowered and optimistic, providing a holistic approach to our dog’s wellbeing.
